What we can practice together in Conversational English Tutoring

• Conversation practice (new friends, doctors, teachers, coworkers, store clerks, travel, etc.)
• Practice what you are learning in other ESL classes (functional use of English grammar)
• Learn idioms, small talk, and cultural nuances
• Business or school presentation practice and proofread slides
• Business English tailored to your job
• Practice writing emails or talking on the phone
• Job interview practice
• Practice pronunciation of American English and learn new vocabulary words with a native American English teacher
• Practice everyday conversations and discussions about life, school, work, travel, and real world topics
• Optional short homework assignments if you want more practice

If you are taking other courses, this is a good way to practice what you are learning in a safe and supportive space. You will get specific feedback and individual language practice in every session. If there are specific things you want to practice, such as public speaking or talking to a school teacher, we can practice those.
